If you have Mcafee Enterprise edition Version 8.0i, and it has stopped updating, follow these steps to allow updates to occur again.

1. In the lower right hand portion of your screen you should see the Mcafee Virus Shield.
   
2. Right click on the shield
   
3. Click on the last option: "about VirusScan Enterprise"
   
4. The "Created on" date should be within a day or so of todays date, if it has appeared to stop sometime in February, you will have to proceed with the following fix
5. Right click on the shield again (as in step 2), but this time select the top option "VirusScan Console"
   
6. Double click on "AutoUpdate"
   
   
   and UNcheck the box next to "Get other available updates".  The above picture is how it should look after you have unchecked the box.
7. Click on "ok"
8. You should now be able to automatically get the updates.
