The Microsoft Java Virtual Machine is no longer available from Microsoft directly due to legal problems with SUN, however it still can be downloaded at the following sites until Sept 30, 2004 :

Steps to install the Microsoft Virtual Machine:

1. Download the version 3805 file using the links above and save it to your harddrive.
2. Once the file is on your hard drive, execute it.  This will load version 3805 (reboot required).
3. After the reboot, download the version 3810 update to your harddrive.
4. Once the file is on your hard drive, execute it.  This will load version 3810 (reboot required).
5. Once the PC has been re-booted you should have VM Version 3810.
